Savola World Foundation was established in October 28th, 2019, by the "Savola Group" as a private foundation under the supervision of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development with license No. (1007), in accordance with the law of the Associations and Non-profit Organizations, which was issued by Resolution No. (61) dated 02/18/ 1437 AH and its executive regulations issued by Ministerial Resolution No. (73739) dated 06/11/1437 AH.
The foundation’s headquarters and the address are in the city of Jeddah; however, functioning within a scope of work that includes all the regions of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The Foundation as a legal entity, is represented by the Board of Trustees, in accordance with the Article of Association that is approved by the competent authorities.
Savola World Foundation was established to give more focus on the sustainability & CSR goals. It started working with an executive management supervised by a Board of Trustees, which the foundation implements its directives. The membership of the Board of Trustees continues for a period of four years. We take into account the best local and international practices in the field of non-profit organizations and corporate foundations.
The new legal status empowers Savola World Foundation to seek funding and form partnerships with government and private sector entities. This status enables the Foundation to champion more effectively the sustainability and social development objectives of the Saudi Arabia Vision 2030. The Foundations is funded by Savola Group (the Founder) to support the development and implementation of its CSR & suitability activities.
Savola World Foundation works according to a vision and a strategic approach aimed at achieving an effective contribution to the CSR & sustainability field. The Foundation will work to accelerate the pace of implementation of the targeted strategy. It will also work to bring about positive change by building effective partnerships, programs and initiatives in the same field with strategic partners. The Foundation conducts social awareness campaigns, provides training, provides consultancy, manages events, conducts research and studies. The foundation works side by side with qualified experts, in order to maximize the impact of its programs and initiatives on the target segments of community.
